The plan slows down when I insert manual tasks and change details from Edit Tasks and clicking Apply. When adding works orders from the order is far quicker.
The development team have implemented enhancements so that when inserting manual tasks on the Gantt Chart, the planning logic is not called and speeds up the planning of manual tasks. These enhancements will be part of Orchestrate version 7.74. Please upgrade to this version or above.
The enhancements include:
• Shuffling enhancements to show progress
• Save plan enhancements to show progress
• Open plan enhancements to show progress
• Close gaps enhancements to show progress
If you are using a plugin, the functionality has been further enhanced in Orchestrate version 7.75. when using Edit Tasks, it will stop calling Shuffling when the Plugin is enabled and the Apply button is pressed. This will improve the performance speed of inserting tasks onto the plan. Please upgrade to this version or above.
