Moved a task to start on 28th March at 06:00 and saved the Plan. No errors. User 1 emailed User 2 to say that it had moved. The colleague replied later that day to say that it was still showing as starting on 7th March in SFDC.
On 6th March at approximately 07:00 my colleague checked the Plan and found that the Task was back at its original start date (7th March 06:00). User 2 moved it again and saved the Plan again. Again no errors. User 2 emailed User 3 to say that he was sure he saved the plan the day before but must have forgotten but had definitely saved the Plan this time.
Again, the Task hadn't moved. User 2 moved the Task for a third time on 7th March at approximately 07:00 and saved the plan again. The third time it worked and another colleague could see that the Task had moved in SFDC too.
The functionality has been enhanced in Orchestrate version 7.74. You can move a task by changing the timing details of a locked task from the Edit Tasks panel without the need to unlock it.
The functionality has been further enhanced in Orchestrate version 7.78 to prevent the Finish time changing to previous work duration, when editing the Start Time of tasks. Please upgrade to this version or above.
