Created six new manual tasks, by copying them from existing tasks, linked them to an works order, saved the plan and the Published to SFDC message displayed. Then, the tasks vanished and could not be found on the plan or SFDC.
The functionality has been enhanced in Orchestrate version 7.72. Please upgrade to this version or above.
