How do you split tasks on the plan?
If you select any tasks that is not running on the plan, right-click them and select Split Task.
You can split the task by time or Quantity.
The new task can have the following options:-
Inherit setup time from the original task
set setup time to zero
split material requirements by task quantity ratio
transfer or don't transfer material requirements to the new task
NOTE: choosing transfer or don't transfer option will cause material requirements to become static values.
split productions by task quantity ratio
transfer or don't transfer productions to the new task
NOTE: choosing transfer or don't transfer option will cause production to become static values.
