Is it possible to allow task overlapping on some resources and not allow it on others?
At the moment when we allowed task overlapping on one resource, overlap happens on all the resources, even the once where "allow task overlapping" is not ticked.
Where overlaps are turned off and units available is set to 1, I can't manually overlap two tasks. But some overlaps are allowed and highlighted in red only when we copy number of tasks and some of them overlap on same resource.
Overlaps are allowed and I can manually move two or more tasks (depending on max unit available setting) to be performed at the same time on the same resource.
Allow overloads button was pressed on the resources where Allow Task Overlaps was not ticked, which is why you see red bars with tasks underneath each other on the plan.
If the allow overloads button was not pressed, the saving plan functionality has been enhanced in Orchestrate version 7.66 to prevent the data being out of synch. Please upgrade to this version or above.
