Licence keeps connecting to same user accounts and reaching the maximum user limit

Written by Charnjit Singh Dharival

Cannot log into Orchestrate because the number of user allocations has reached its limit.

Please check the lmx-serv.log file from the location on the server (e.g. C:\Program Files (x86)\X-Formation\LM-X End-user Tools 4.7.5) . You will see the message:

ORCHESTRATE FAIL: no more licences available

Please complete the following steps from the server, where the LMX software is installed:

  1. Go to the windows start menu

  2. enter services.msc and hit enter

  3. select LM-X licence server 4.7.5

  4. click stop

  5. wait 10 minutes and then click start

  6. This will force all sessions connected to the licence to end and the relevant users will be able to log back into the application

Note: The lmx-serv log file will output like below:-
