How to create a SFDC view and add or delete an resource to the existing view

  • Created a view and ticked published it to web which should make it show up in Shop Floor Data Capture. However, it doesn’t show up.

  • How to create a view so that it is visible within SFDC.

  • Cannot add or delete a resource being used onto the SFDC.


To set up an Orchestrate view so that it is visible in SFDC, please complete the following steps:

  1. Select view

  2. Select view manager

  3. Find the view in the Saved Views section.

  4. At the bottom of the window, tick Publish to Web

  5. Click Save

  6. Select Tools

  7. SFDC Users

  8. SFDC Roles

  9. The list of views appear.

  10. In the Allow column, select the check box for the relevant view.

  11. Refresh the SFDC page. The new view will show as one of the options.

To add a resource to an existing view, please complete the following steps:

  1. Select view

  2. Select view manager

  3. Find the relevant view in the Saved Views drop down list

  4. Select the relevant resource from the Available sub-window

  5. Click Insert

  6. Click Save and Exit

To add a resource to an existing view, please complete the following steps:

  1. Select view

  2. Select view manager

  3. Find the relevant view in the Saved Views drop down list

  4. Select the relevant resource from the Available sub-window

  5. Click Remove

  6. Click Save and Exit
