How to amend time limit on a plan.
Is there a 5 year limit to a plan?
If we move the plan start date forward in time will that allow the site to plan further out into the future?
Orders and components are not being read from the plan after a certain date.
Orders are not planning due to resource rule error but plan does not use any resource rules
Please complete the following steps:
Log into Orchestrate
Select Tools
Select Options
Defaults to Gantt Chart tab
Increase the figure in the Planning Range field from 5 years to maximum of 10 years.
Note: It is not recommend to increase the default planning range unless absolutely necessary. Increasing the planning range may cause slower performance when using the plan.
Best practice is to change the Plan Start Date and Time via the following steps:
Select file
plan properties
change date in Plan Start Date and Time field
Note: The plan properties has three dates:-
plan start date and time is: the date represents current time on plan
the status date and time is: the date which represents when stock was last updated
planning start date and time is: the earliest date we can add orders to the plan from
