User views the Demand Planner which shows zero in the Stock column, when the stock level is actually negative. This is very confusing as it isn't clear why the Demand Planner wants to make a quantity of an Item that has 0 requirement on the plan and 0 target stock level. Stock is the available from the stock level at the Status Date. This figure can be found when select the Items menu, stock.
The functionality has been enhanced to show negative stock in the demand planner. Please upgrade to Orchestrate version 7.71 or above.
