Planned a works order from the demand and it has planned it 17 days late. Moved the Work Order's tasks and closed all the gaps so that the last task for the WO is 3 days before the forecast, however, the Gantt chart is showing the Planning Status as planned on time, but the order planner is still showing 17.15 days late in red.
This is not a problem with the software at all, but a misunderstanding in terms of what the lateness figure is representing.
The lateness figure looks at when an order is scheduled to finish (based on the finish date of the last task on that given order) and it is comparing it with the deadline date.
For example, if you move op 20, the finish date of the order changes, therefor the lateness figure changes as well. If you move op 10, the finish date does not change, so the lateness figure stays the same.
If you use the dragging tool to move tasks/WO around on the plan it does not update, if you edit the task and change the start/ end date then the lateness is updated.
