Since Orchestrate v7.77 HotFix 50, the following error message has generated:
Not able to apply changes as the task is linked to a locked task.
We understand that this feature was put into place to prevent locked tasks from drastically moving on the plan if predecessor/start-start was unlocked but successor/start-start was not. However, it is frustrating to have to go and look for the linked task, especially if not in the same view. Can the error message be updated to include the Op Step and Task Description?
This would be similar to if you attempt to plan a WO and it provides an error message with the Op Step.
The functionality has been enhanced in Orchestrate version 7.82. Please upgrade to this version or above.
