Task dependencies to unplanned tasks interfere with the dragging and cannot be deleted

Dependencies to unplanned Tasks should not have any impact on the planned Tasks. Since the unplanned Task is not on the plan at any date/time, it should be considered not to have a start/finish date and therefore cannot constrain successors/predecessors.

This is impacting the user because they use the Defined Peggings. Importing defined peggings creates task dependencies between tasks of different Works Orders. When one of the Works Orders is not on the plan, it still interferes with the user's ability to move the other Works Order.

The functionality has been enhanced in Orchestrate version 7.77. Please upgrade to this version or above.

If you are not in a position to upgrade yet, there is a temporary workaround. Permanently delete the unplanned Task (making it impossible to restore it later). Add the unplanned Task back onto the Plan. Delete the dependency (making it necessary to manually recreate the dependency later).
