Observe sequence of Tasks on Resource RES1
Note the first two Tasks
There is no setup time on the third Task (Order 100.03 OpStep 20)
In the Order Planner, select the Has Planned Date filter
Click the Planned Start Date column header to sort the Order Planner by Planned Start Date in ascending order
Set the Add to plan date (at the top of the Left Panel) to be: Mon 29 Jun 2026 at 07:35
Select the second Works Orders in the list (8491.01) and click Add to Plan
Observe the sequence of Tasks on Resource 0114 now. The sequence has been changed. Order 8491.01 OpStep 40 has leap frogged Order 8458.03 OpStep 20, thus creating additional setup time on Order 8463.03 OpStep 20.
Expected behaviour
The sequence on Resource 0114 should be preserved. Orchestrate should push 8491.01 OpStep 40 later (in order to accommodate the predecessor steps that have been planned) but it should also push all subsequent Tasks on 0114 behind it; including Order 8458.03 OpStep 20 and Order 8463.03 OpStep 20 preserving the Planner's original sequence and avoiding the introduction of unnecessary setup time.
The functionality has been enhanced in Orchestrate version 7.83 or above. Please upgrade to this version.
