How do I Plan Purchase Orders with Lead Time?
When planning PO’s, the Arrival Date is the one that triggers where the milestone task is going to land.
For brought-in parts, it also takes Process Lead Time into consideration (as QA Time - basically, although the order arrives on 24.02.2016, if a Process Lead Time of 21 days is specified, the PO is only going to be available on 16.03.2016, at 21 days since the arrival).
Process Lead time can be found under Items > Items.
📌Note: if importing items, the process lead time could be imported from your integrated system.
