Retrieve the Citrix logs via the following steps:
Right-click Citrix app (blue circle with white curly lines) from windows taskbar and select Troubleshooting
Select Collect Logs
You will see errors in the log e.g. A fatal error occurred while creating a TLS client credential. the internal error is 10013

The resolution is to enable TLS version 1.2 on the relevant user's profile.
