Features and enhancements
In the Order Planner, all custom datetime attributes now display both the date and time, instead of just the date:
We've added the following keyboard shortcuts to change the tool selected in the Gantt Chart:
Ctrl + 1 enables the Select Tasks tool.
Ctrl + 2 enables the Drag Tasks tool.
Ctrl + 3 enables the Measuring tool.
There's a new option in the View Manager, when you have the Displayed Date Range set to Time Window, named Current Time. This ensures that the view starts from the Current Time:
While in the Resources tab in the Edit Tasks panel, you can now copy resources from one task and paste them into another:
While in data forms, you can now perform searches using multiple words. The functionality is explained below with some examples:
Consider a data form which has the following records:
Searching with TextA TextB returns all fields with TextA and TextB:
Searching with "TextA TextB" returns all fields with TextA TextB only:
Searching with “TextA TextB” TextC returns all fields with TextA TextB and TextC:
Searching with “TextA TextB” “TextC” returns all fields with TextA TextB and TextC:
In this release, records are only found where all the search terms are present in the same field column. In a near future release, we may extend this functionality so that records are found when the search terms are present in different field columns.
While in the About Form, click on the data source or database name to copy them to your clipboard.
We've added a new column for Item Description in the Prod/Usage tab in the Edit Tasks panel:
When performing actions that cause the plan to shuffle, such as: Moving or inserting tasks on the plan, unplanning tasks, adding dependencies, closing gaps, etc, we now display a progress bar to provide the user information about the current action:
When you save the plan, a progress bar now displays:
When opening the plan, a progress bar is now displayed:

Important version information
From version 7.74 onwards Access Orchestrate no longer supports the following:
Negative or 0 quantity for Works/Purchase Orders and Tasks.
Negative rate or work duration for Tasks.
Negative setup, duration or Mins/Item for Process Steps.
Databases from prior versions cannot upgrade if they contain any of the data listed above. Attempting to update databases with bad data will result in an error similar to the following:
