When trying to run an data import from FactoryMaster to Orchestrate we are receiving the following error:
'Violation Of Unique Key Constraint 'IX_orc_Items_ItemCode'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'dbo.orc_Items'.'
If you are receiving this error please check if the Item Code/Part Number detailed in the error message in FactoryMaster has more than one Preferred Route. If it does have more than one Preferred Route one of the routes will need to be Unset as Preferred.
You can check this by doing the following:
In FactoryMaster click Production
Click Manufacturing Route Maintenance
Search for the Item Number/Part Number detailed in the error message
If more than one route is returned and there are multiple Preferred Routes you will need to click Unset Preferred against the routes until you only have one Preferred Route for that Part.
