Random tasks or works orders changes to completed automatically after an data import or CSV import

The Task Status for a large numbers of tasks has been incorrectly changed to 'Completed' during the data import. The tasks need to be restore to their original status.

When I import via CSV, random works orders import has completed when they should not be.


Solution 1

Please upgrade to Orchestrate version 7.62 or above and make sure Custom Code is turned on from Orchestrate System Manager via the following steps:

  1. File

  2. System Settings

  3. General (tab)

  4. Tick On under heading Custom Code

  5. Click OK

Solution 2

If the issue continues to occur, please delete the relevant works orders from the following locations:-

  1. Select Orders

  2. Works Orders

  3. select the relevant works orders and click Edit

  4. Click Delete Row(s)

  5. Select planning

  6. archived tasks

  7. enter relevant works order

  8. highlight all relevant rows and click edit

  9. click delete row(s)

  10. Then run the CSV import and the works orders will plan with the correct status.
