Error: 'RemoteApp disconnected this computer can't connect to the remote computer'

Cannot launch the application from the shortcut due to the following error:

RemoteApp Disconnected

This computer can't connect to the remote computer.

Try connecting again. If the problem continues, contact the owner of the remote computer or your network administrator.

RemoteApp Disconnected

Your computer can't connect to the remote desktop gateway server. Contact your network administrator for assistance


Solution 1

If error is connecting to a remote server, please contact your third party IT to check firewall settings. Orchestrate data mappings may need to be unblocked.

If error is from PC client, the URL used to launch your Cloud login webpage may need to be added to the VPN domain. Alternatively, disconnect VPN and use Wifi to connect to the Cloud web page.

Solution 2


Please try the below steps:

  1. Go to the Start Menu and open up the Control Panel.

  2. Now, navigate to Credential Manager and then click on Windows Credentials.

  3. From the list, remove the credentials for RDP.

  4. Launch Remote Desktop Connection again and see if you can now connect to Orchestrate.
