  • How to review user access within Orchestrate.

  • Allow a specific permission for a specific user or role.

If you are using Orchestrate version 7.67 or below, view which users have specific roles and permissions by logging into Orchestrate System Manager (red clog symbol) and complete the following steps:

  1. Select File

  2. Select user management

  3. Select user permissions

  4. View a grid which displays each individual users built-in permissions, allowed and denied permissions

  5. After step 2 if you click Role Permissions, you will see the equivalent grid for each roles built-in permissions, allowed and denied permissions

For example, if you want users with the viewer role to be able to search for orders from the order planner you would tick Allow for 221_ViewOrders.

If you are on Orchestrate version 7.68 or above, please log into Orchestrate and complete the following steps:

  1. Select Tools

  2. Orchestrate Users

  3. Select user permissions

  4. View a grid which displays each individual users built-in permissions, allowed and denied permissions

  5. After step 2 if you click Role Permissions, you will see the equivalent grid for each roles built-in permissions, allowed and denied permissions

If you are using Citrix MyDesk environment, you cannot access the user and role permissions. We can log into the Citrix server and amend the relevant permissions for you. We would require written authorisation from your manager. Please raise a new case online and reference the title of this article.
