Resolution
Work through the following steps in order until the issue is resolved.
Step 1: Upgrade Orchestrate
This issue has been resolved in Orchestrate version 7.80. Upgrade to this version or above.
Step 2: Check server RAM
The database server must have at least 8 GB of RAM to handle the performance of Orchestrate and mass data imports. Please refer to the Orchestrate Hardware guide to confirm your server meets the minimum requirements.
Step 3: Reboot the database SQL server
If the server has sufficient RAM, reboot the database SQL server. Ensure that all users are logged out of both Orchestrate and the ERP system before doing so.
Step 4: Free up disk space by shrinking SQL log files
Freeing up disk space may also resolve this error. To shrink the log files of any SQL databases that are too large, complete the following steps in SQL Server Management Studio:
Back up the database.
Right-click the database name folder.
Select Tasks.
Select Shrink.
Select Files.
Set the file type to Log.
Select Reorganise pages before releasing unused space and set the shrink file size (for example, 100 MB).
⚠️Important: Always back up the database before shrinking log files.
If none of the above steps resolve the issue, please raise a new case online and reference the title of this article.
