Book downtime but can't complete the booking within SFDC

Written by Charnjit Singh Dharival

Book the downtime, but then it doesn't appear in the Downtimes dialog. So, can't complete it. Booked a brand new downtime (without a To Date) and saw the Down flag appear for the Resource in the Work List, the Notification about the Resource going down appeared in the Notifications dialog, but the Downtimes dialog remained empty.

SFDC Users should not have access to SFDC while they are assigned to an SFDC Role that is disabled. The functionality has been enhanced in SFDC version 1.5.0 Please upgrade to this version or above. In the meantime, complete the following steps:

  1. Open Orchestrate as an Administrator

  2. Select Tools

  3. SFDC Users

  4. SFDC Roles

  5. click on Role Management (bottom left)

  6. ensure that the Default role is not disabled.

Alternatively, you can make sure that users are not assigned to the Default Role that is disabled, but instead other roles that are enabled and that have access to the resources required.

If the issue continues to occur, please start a conversation on the Access Community Portal. How to contact Support via the MyAccess Portal | Orchestrate Help Centre
