Error: 'Task history is enabled but the service broker is disabled' or 'the task history has not updated'

When I log into Orchestrate the following error displays:-

Task history is enabled but the service broker is disabled. Please contact your system administrator to turn on the service broker.

Ensure that everyone is logged off while this feature is enabled.


I cannot use task history because of the following error:

The task history has not updated.

If the problem persists. please contact your system administrator.


The service broker needs enabling or the service broker needs configuring. Please raise a new case online and reference the title of this article.

Note: when you restore a database copy, the service broker will have to be enabled again.

Also, we have changed the The task history has not updated message to not generate as a dialog box, when you upgrade to Orchestrate version 7.67 or above. The message will appear in the status box on the bottom left hand corner of the screen.
