How table names on the mapping fields represent staging database

Written by Charnjit Singh Dharival
  • How does the data flow to extract data from ERP system so that it can pull through to Orchestrate.

  • User requires the date mapping fields that they have been working from, that tells them the data and where it comes from.

  • Orchestrate uses a staging database to pull data from rather than directly from our ERP system. On the mapping fields documents there are table names such as [wf].[customers]. Are these the names of the staging database tables or are these the tables that Orchestrate stores data in?

  • If they are not the staging database table names, then please provide the names of these tables?

These type of table names are within the Staging database that Orchestrate can read from. For example,

Table name: [wf].[Customers]

The above table is for entering customer details. Customers can be linked to Sales Orders and Works Orders.
