Error: 'An unexpected error occurred the wait operation timed out' when trying to delete works orders or saved plans

When I delete all tasks for Order(s), they fail silently if the Order does not have at least one task on the Gantt Chart, or, if I delete lots of works orders from the order planner, the following message generates:

An unexpected error occurred System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception: The wait operation timed out.


The functional has been enhanced in Orchestrate version 7.79 hotfix 10 or above. Please upgrade to this version or above.

There is a workaround if you are not in a position to upgrade yet:

Ensure there is at least one Task of the Works Order on the Gantt Chart (either by adding it to the Plan or by manually creating a Task on the Gantt Chart and associating it with that Works Order).
