Quantity fields greyed out and can't change status of completed tasks in actuals within Edit Tasks

  • Cannot add quantities within the actual fields of Edit Tasks.

  • After completing task from Actuals, user can't change the status back to Ready To Start.

An enhancement was made in Orchestrate version 7.70 to grey out the Quantity field options and reduce the number of task statuses within the Actuals tab of Edit Tasks.

If SFDC is enabled and actuals are being logged via SFDC, then it is not practical to also allow them to add actuals to the same tasks from Orchestrate as well.

If these tasks shouldn't be in SFDC and you want to update the actuals via Orchestrate, they should be on resources that are not in any SFDC views and Scrap and others can be enabled too.

To show Percent Complete accurately on the plan, the planners will have to input the percentage. For example, for 40% enter 0.4 as booked qty by shop floor from SFDC (planned qty 1) for task op step e.g. WO 12345 op step 103205. You cannot have two different systems entering two different figures for percent complete at the same time. 60% will have a booked quantity of 0.2 (because orchestrate understands already booked in 0.4 qty earlier within SFDC).
